Happy day

Oh Happy Day!

Today was a good day. A day full of little things that equaled a great day.

Those are the best kinds. Every little once in a while during that day, you'll laugh.

Like when you laughed in interior design, because miss. Cierra across the table was laughing at nothing.

Or this cute boy, who smiled at me. Or the random Navy band during lunch that was actually pretty good.

Or that time you made someone smile. And laugh. Or that time you are sitting with your friends, and you think:

"Boy, do I have some splendid friends."

Or when you accidentally sing a Justin Bieber song out loud in the echoing stalls, even though you've only heard it once. And wasn't even too fond of it.

And then coming home to a room full of Aunts that make me smile.

So yes, I had a great day. Did you? I pray so.

Here's a drawing of my future husband. Yum. Maybe I'll try and give him hands. He won't be very good at housework if he doesn't have hands. What is that you said? Yes, my hubby will do housework. Oh, how the tables have turned...In the right direction. Joke.

It wasn't really that colorful, silly photoshop did that. I like it though.
Made it in church..So...hopefully that will lend my future husband some
good looking blessing.

Peace Luv,
Nicole

Shirts

So this year I am a Student Body Officer at Viewmont High School. For design. And I love it! What a great excuse I now have to do art. For my entire school. So here are two designs I've done so far for T- shirts.

Our mascot is the Viking and our school year's theme is live long and conquer. (It's a Star Trek reference if you didn't know). This is the school shirt design:

This next one is for Senior Committee:

Squirrel Campaign

Once upon a time there was this squirrel who couldn't find his lady squirrel because she got lost in the woods.
He searched high and low (but mostly low, he wasn't a flying squirrel) and couldn't seem to find her.
He went to a park.
He saw a man talking on this flat box. He asked if he could borrow it, in the only way he could.
He bit the man, gave him rabies, and directly after he ran away.
He called the operator. She didn't understand squirrel. So it didn't work.
But it surely would have if the lady squirrel had a phone.
So the squirrel asked me to start a campaign.

In other news:
There once was a redhead who thought this story was funny when she typed it up. Excuse her.
Love,
Nicole

Miss Caitlin

This may sound like an excuse, but I actually like how unproportional (though that isn't a word) it turned out. I like how geometric it looks, yeah?
Alright,

So here it is: More Art. This is a piece I did about 3 weeks ago. Much fun, I might add. I'm playing around with styles a bit. Anyway,

Enjoy Your Summer Days.

Old Art, New Art, Red Art, Blue Art

Sorry for this weekly lack of posts, I happened to be in Bear Lake, which was very fun I might add.
I thought I might share this old art piece I did a while ago, I really need to start using my scanner, and getting some more stuff up in this blogosphere.(That is a word I got from my friend Lexi's Long Dictionary Of Misfitted and New Words) So here it is:
Lots of mixed media with this one: Watercolor, Ink, Oil Paint, some Acetone Transfer for the light shading, and some Colored Pencil. So with all that said, this piece did make it into the Springville Art Show, that makes momma proud. Though it was on the downstairs level  in the corner, this year my piece will be so grand it will hang in the lobby, for all of eternity. They won't be able to take it down. And I'll price it for 1000 Bucks. There.

Alright, Peace Out Boy Scout.
